01 / Background

Ironpeak Tools is a US distributor of precision measuring instruments to manufacturers, machine shops and government buyers. Their catalogue ran deep but their search visibility had eroded — marketplaces were eating branded queries and the site's technical foundation was holding back every page they tried to rank. We were brought in to rebuild the organic engine around real engineering-buyer intent.

02 / Challenges

Marketplaces owning category terms

Generic 'precision tool' queries were dominated by Amazon and a couple of mega-distributors — Ironpeak wasn't on page one for most of its own catalogue.

Technical-SEO debt

Faceted-nav URLs ballooned the crawl budget, canonical signals were inconsistent, and Core Web Vitals were red across mobile.

Thin product copy

Tens of thousands of SKUs carried supplier-copied descriptions — Google was deduping silently and never showed them.
