01 / Background
Northvent runs an open online HVAC marketplace that puts top-tier brands in front of homeowners and contractors directly, breaking the local-dealer pricing monopoly. They came to us with a great commercial idea and a fragmented stack — we built the whole digital surface, the operating backbone behind it, and the growth engine in front of it.
02 / Challenges
A category-defining proposition was being sold through a generic e-commerce theme — the brand wasn't doing any of the convincing.
Installation, warranty service and recurring maintenance were tracked in shared inboxes — dispatch was guesswork.
Brands joining the marketplace had no self-serve onboarding, no catalogue tools and no order visibility.
Some SKUs ship from vendors, others from Northvent's own warehouse — the storefront had no clean way to show availability.
